the art of bearing witness
There is a particular kind of light that only exists for a few seconds. The way it falls across a veil, catches the rim of a champagne coupe, or settles on a bride's face the moment she sees her person at the end of the aisle. Lynzie has spent over a decade learning how to find that light - and how to hold it.
Bonphotage was born in 2012 when Lynzie walked away from a career in international corporate law - a UCLA and Northwestern Law education, prestigious firms, stints across Brazil, New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles - to do the thing she'd always loved most. Photography wasn't a pivot. It was a return.
Her foundation was laid early: at age four, she stood beside her father in a film darkroom and watched an image emerge from nothing. Later, UCLA's Arts program gave her the language for what she'd always felt instinctively. The law years sharpened her attention to detail, her calm under pressure, and her ability to read a room. All of it lives in her work.
Today, Lynzie leads a carefully assembled team of film photographers, videographers, and content creators who have documented over 1,000 weddings across 45+ countries. Their work has appeared in Harper's Bazaar, People Magazine, Martha Stewart Weddings, WWD, The Knot and Style Me Pretty, amongst many others.
This is not transactional photography. This is a record of your life at its most luminous.
