Hi, I'm Rachel! I am so excited to be a part of the Bonphotage Fine Art Photography team and tell you a little bit about myself and my journey in photography!

My couples describe me as bubbly and fun to be around and they often think of me more as a friend than a hired photographer. I can't help it - I just love LOVE! I married the love of my life this year (photographed by Bonphotage, of course!) and here is one of my favorite wedding photos!

As far as my favorite venues, I am partial to anything with beautiful light and a killer view. Whether it is the bright lights on Michigan Ave from the fire escape at the Allerton, stunning lakeshore drive from the bridal suite window at the Drake, the pristine pool at the Monte Bello estate next to long rows of wild flowers, or the quaint and cozy street corners under the "L" tracks from west loop favorites like Room 1520, Ovation, or City Winery. I love styling the bride's details and walking into the reception space for the first time. After getting to know my couples throughout their engagement it's such a pleasure to see how their wedding day vision comes together. Our couples pour their heart and soul into every detail of their big day and I love capturing it. I love seeing little details and smiling to myself thinking "that's so them!"
