I was lucky enough to have spent some time at Il Borro and when Allison suggested she wanted to have a destination wedding in Italy, I knew it would be the perfect venue! Dating back to the 1200’s, this romantic fortress is set amongst rolling hills and everything wonderfully Tuscan - it was the most romantic setting for this long-time couple to make it official! There wedding was so intimate, with guests flying in from around the world to celebrate their love. There was so much love and emotion - we may have shed a few tears! The Cultural Center was designed in a neoclassical style over 100yrs ago and we are obsessed with every beautiful architectural detail, including the Tiffany & Co. dome ceiling.
One of my favorite photos from their day was during their ‘first look’ – Layla’s face holds so much emotion and happiness as she heads towards Imran, all in front of the beautiful Chicago River backdrop!
