Oh goodness - where to start with these two?! They were oozing joy and chemistry at their engagement session and the magic only continued through to their wedding day. We had the best time capturing Ashley and Matt’s beautiful wedding at our favorite Chicago History Museum (one of the best spots in the city for classic drone’s eye view shots - scroll down!) The silver lining to having to push out a big wedding celebration due to covid was the opportunity to capture Shannon and Jim’s nuptials, not once - but twice! The lovebirds said I do last year in an intimate ceremony and waited for this year for their big reception at the Drake Hotel…and we would say WOW was it ever worth the wait! Leah and Jeyser had a gorgeous Chicago day for their nuptials at Holy Family and Galleria Marchetti! They started their day at Chicago’s new Nobu hotel and Leah shared the sweetest first look with her bridesmaids and her father. WE then went around the city to iconic locations including the Art Institute and Millennium Park for portraits. Stephanie and Drew’s engagement session had everything we could hope for - beautiful location, beautiful couple, beautiful lighting…alligators??!! These two drove all the way from North Carolina to met me at the Montage Palmetto Bluff for their engagement session and it was AMAZING! They were so much fun and so in love and yes, an alligator did come scarily close to poor Stephanie! We made it through and these beautiful photos resulted - we cannot wait for their destination wedding in September!
