Theodora and Eric travelled from New York City to Chicago to say their vows in front of their family and fiends and it was MAGICAL! Theodora had a specific vision for her wedding which included a backdrop (a la Sofia Grange style!), an incredible vintage Valentino gown and even a couture crown - she was truly a QUEEN on her wedding day! Eric and Theodora said their vows privately on a gorgeous sunny day before heading to RPM Events for cocktails with stunning views of the Chicago River. The day was perfection from start to finish and captured beautifully by Bonphotage photographer Serena.

Bonphotage Chicago Fine Art Film Couples Session - Colleen and Tim - Lincoln Park

One of the best aspects of our job is having the pleasure to document families over the years as they grow! We met Colleen and Tim in 2019 for their engagement session and had the pleasure of capturing their wedding in 2020. When Colleen and Tim reached out for a family session to document the addition of their precious pup Effie, it was an overwhelming YES from us!

We had the most magical golden hour session at North Ave Beach Pier in Lincoln Park and we are so excited to share their film scans (don’t think we will ever get over adorable Effie!) We look forward to continue capturing this sweet fam over the years!

Jessica and Jason planned the most beautiful, intimate wedding at their family estate. The setting, the decor, the thoughtful details - it took our breath away! With a small guest list (29!) the focus was on family and forever. They got married in the garden surrounded by flowers with the sun shining, then enjoyed dinner and drinks on the terrace. Best of 2022!

2022! What a year for weddings! As we do every year, we tried to round up the “BEST” of 2022 but what a challenge! We had the opportunity this past year to capture love across the globe - from Miami, to Beverly Hills, to Napa Valley, to the Amalfi Coast, to Paris, to the Santa Ynez Valley, to Michigan, to St. Louis and of course in our beloved Chicago! We wish we could share each and every one of the stunning weddings we captured but here is a small glimpse of the some of the magic!

The silver lining to having to push out a big wedding celebration due to covid was the opportunity to capture Shannon and Jim’s nuptials, not once - but twice! The lovebirds said I do last year in an intimate ceremony and waited for this year for their big reception at the Drake Hotel…and we would say WOW was it ever worth the wait! Julia and Gregg dealt with all the stresses involved with multiple wedding reschedules with so much grace! At the end of the day, what mattered most to them was to marry one another - and what a celebratory day it was! Julia and Gregg started their day at the Waldorf Astoria in downtown Chicago with the sweetest first look before heading to our favorite spots around Chicago for portraits. The lovebirds said I do at Bridgeport Art Center before heading to Lake Forest for their fairytale tented reception! Happy tears were shed and we enjoyed every moment of capturing their perfect day! Can ALL weddings be in Italy pleaseeee?? I don’t even know where to begin with Ellie and Justin’s fairytale wedding in the Umbrian countryside of Italy. The weather was absolutely perfect and every enchanting corner of Castello di Rosciano was sensory heaven! Ellie and Justin treated their guests to a multi-day celebration in Italy but the wedding day was the cherry on top! Storybook Weddings planned every moment to perfection and we were lucky enough to be chosen to capture this extraordinary wedding. E & J thought through every detail, from the insane aperitif spread to the lavender toss! We did not waste anytime exploring the countryside and taking portraits in every picturesque location we could find! My personal favorite was the tree lined road which yelled ITALY in every beautiful sense of the word! I could go on and on about this wedding but will have to wait to show you more coming soon to a fabulous publication! We were so incredibly honored to go to Italy recently to photograph Ellie & Justin’s multi-day wedding party in the beautiful vineyard region of Umbria! The lovebirds treated their guests to an eight course al fresco meal overlooking the stunning country side at Monte Vibiano Vecchio. Guests enjoyed wine pairings from the local vines before touring the vineyards and the historic castle. The weather was absolutely perfect for portraits in the olive groves and we could not be happier with their stunning film images! Congrats you two - it was an absolute honor to be a part of your day! We absolutely loved photographing Eunice & MJ’s stunning wedding at the historic Ebell of Los Angeles! Every detail was well thought out for their special day, from the artist drawing sketches of guests to the sparkly Jimmy Choo heels to the beautiful architectural details on the Ebell - it was a fairy tale day! Eunice looked stunning and you can tell from MJ’s expression during their first look that he felt the same way! Bonphotage Chicago and California Fine Art Wedding Photography - Bel Air Bay Club - Emma & Geoff

Emma and Geoff celebrated their beautiful wedding amongst their closest family and friends, overlooking the Pacific Ocean at the stunning Bel Air Bay Club in Los Angeles California. Emma looked absolutely radiant as she walked down the aisle sprinkled with rose petals towards the love of her life, Geoff. Orchids and hydrangeas adorned the flower arch at the end of the aisle and Emma carried a beautiful bouquet of Orchids and greenery. Geoff’s expression when he saw her for the first look says it all!
