I remember vividly sitting in a cafe in Paris, while on site for a destination wedding, when Jamie called me to inquire about her upcoming wedding. Most importantly, she said, "we want to include our two English Bulldogs in our engagement photos." Well, if you know me at all, you know she was speaking to my language! Amie and Ben's wedding was one for the books! This stunning couple flew from their home in New York City to the bride's hometown of Dallas, Texas to tie the knot and we couldn't be happier to have been a part of it! This couple was surrounded by so much love all day and their ceremony was just about the sweetest we've ever seen. The sun starting to set behind them as they exchanged vows was just the icing on the cake! Guests smiled, laughed, enjoyed some real Texas bbq under beautiful strands of twinkle lights hung from the ceiling at historic Winfrey Point. The couple had a pubic first dance in front of their loved ones and ended with the night with their own private last dance. A perfect end to a perfect evening!

From the first time I spoke with Lindsay on the phone, I was super excited about capturing her wedding! Lindsay and Brian flew in from Manhattan to have their ceremony in Chicago, and more specifically, at St. Michael's in Old Town, where her mother and grandmother were also married. After the ceremony, the party moved to 19 East (one of our favorite Chicago venues!) where Food For Thought served international fare from all the countries around the world where the newlyweds have traveled.
